Both the Varangians take advantage of their impetuous to move forward. The left one throws smoke to block the Raicho's LOS and moves up to the wall in front, facing to cover the prone Zerat on the board edge with her chain rifle. Two command tokens are burnt to move the Omega, Varangians, and Epsilon all to better positions.
The Cyberghost moves out to secure the console, then runs to cover. The Sirius FO moves out to secure the console and fails before running back to hide. The Omega suppresses while the Epsilon doesn't have any more orders to also suppress; in hindsight, I did not need to run forward with the Sirius team, yet, since I basically had that console secured, anyway.
The FO zerat stands up with her boarding shotgun and puts 1 shot into the Varangian and 1 into the Epsilon. The Varangian chain rifles back, while the zerat amazingly misses. The Epsilon uses his pistol to beat out the zerat. The Zerat passes both the chain rifle save and pistol save, to pass her guts roll and drop prone.
Unwilling to risk the forward specialist again, the Raicho opens up everything onto the Epsilon, who predictably explodes into paste. The boosted Peeler in the back crits the Raicho once. Next comes four orders of the Raicho trying to dislodge the boosted peeler. It lost every gun battle, getting crit again and failing 3 saves, rolling 1, 1, and 3. In the middle of that, one order is spent by the adjacent Medtech to revive the Raicho once, only for the Raicho to, as mentioned above, roll double 1s to go straight dead.
On the right, the tucked away Varangian throws a smoke, covering for the Sirius, who moves forward and taps the console. The exposed Sirius bot gets blasted by both Sogarats and the Sirius moves back behind the corner.
In the words of my friend, "SOGARATS ARE MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE MISSION." So, he spends his last regular order to auto-medkit and bring back the unconscious feuerbach Sogarat.
Hilariously, I didn't realize the Lt. HMG Sogarat DIDN'T have Full Auto L2 until somewhere in the middle of Turn 3, so a bunch of my crits in Turn 2 shouldn't have been crits. At the same time, we know that I did roll some 8s mixed in there, so were like "wutevs, let's just keep going, lol." Also, it makes for a silly story.
My buddy was hoping to use the mine dispenser on the Raicho to take advantage of the unlimited ammo; sadly, he wound up not doing so.

╭( ・ㅂ・)و ̑̑ Congrat commander, good report if you need help, the Tohaa army are available
Thank you! One of these days, I hope to improve by making it more narrative and in-universe, rather than literally reporting what happened on the tabletop, haha. It definitely takes a lot more effort to do a narrative batrep
Great report commander! You set the standard and made our Records Division proud with this excellent thorough report.
