NIGHT. Novvy Bangkok’s main strip. Mingling with the local Ikari Company, a squad of JSA run into a vulnerable Ramah Task Force. Words are exchanged, and the JSA open fire when the Ramah units do not disengage. Civilians scatter. The main strip becomes a warzone.

We had a great game, ending with a Ramah victory! Just to walk you through each photo… (technically they uploaded out of order, boo)

See Picture #3. The battlefield is pretty close. I recently finished building all this terrain when our local craft store was going out of business. I’m very pleased with how it turned out; I don’t know how to airbrush but I do know how to use rattle-cans and drybrush. Decapitation is a rugged mission, we were both excited- so excited we forgot about Wild Bill. Oops!

Observer picture #1 – The first thing Greg did was send Kurage Rider straight at my forces. She screamed like a banshee and shredded some of my light infantry on the flank, including my Ghulam Sniper (purple turban) , some medium and even a heavy Al Fasid unit. Bad start.

Observe Picture #2 – the Kurage Rider finally went down after doing like 80 points worth of damage when my higher-power Ramah units like the Mukhtar took aim and took her out.

Observe picture #5 – A SECOND assault bike shows up. The damn Arogoto screamed in from the other side to cleave through my fireteam! (I actually painted this one before selling it to my opponent last year… definitely doing more damage to me than I ever got out of it!) The bike broke the fireteam but only by taking out some cheapr Ghulam, so it went okay.

Observer picture #4 0 This is the view I’ve got. At the start of the bottom of Turn 1, I have a broken link, some scattered elite infantry, and some long sight lines. I don’t know how to get rid of the Total Reaction remote, so I just pound endless shots at it until it goes down. It costs me more units. The upside is that…

Observe picture 6 – The upside is that in doing so, I take out his Ryuken Unit-9 in the front and also force the one in the back to appear and take a poorly-rolled shot.

Observe Picture 7 – I recenetly learned that Climbing Plus works like wallrunning. It is the coolest thing on the planet. With this, I’m able to vault past some terrain and get into close combat with the Assaulting trooper.

Observe the last few photos. Much of round 2 is spent on close combats that are VERY important, like eliminating the Ryuken, taking out the Total Reaction bot again, moving fireteams into better positions, and eventually getting my Nahab into close combat with the massive Daiyokai. I win the fight, but only barely.

The final photo shows our overall attack patterns in the battle. I think that the table was fair, though in the future I might add some walkways to make movement from building to building easier. Overall, it was a fun battle – we hadn’t played in a whiel and this was great.
