Asteroid Blues

The Foreign company moved up with their A team (Hannibal, Valkaryie, Senor Massacre, Laxmee, and a bolt) pressing forward. Eclipse grenades were thrown to ensure there was no one able to spot their movements, as well as another eclipse grenade, was thrown to cover what the brawler sniper on top of a building said was some unusual noise coming from behind him.

After laying out smoke to cover their tracks the A team started to have Valkeryie climb the building towards the possible enemy infiltrator on top of the building but at the same time, another camouflaged soldier on top of another building shot a missile at Hannibal who was packed in with Senor Massacre and a bolt. Which took out Hannibal and the bolt while Senor Massacre was able to escape the blast. After the first hit, the remains of the A-team realized they were pinned down. So the sniper on the roof with the MSV2 decided to take out this lone scots guard with a missile launcher, this ended horribly for the brawler. With a shot that skimmed the shoulder of the scots guard, the missile struck the brawler in the chest exploding and even hitting Valkyrie in the explosion. This Scots Guard armed with a missile launcher looming over the remains of the right flank did not give Laxmee or Valkyrie a chance to move.

Meanwhile, a Haris of Kaplan knows that there is someone nearby. They decide to wait and see if the threat will show their face leaving the right flank of the Foreign company forces stagnant while the left flank is pinned by the lone scots guard with a missile launcher.

McMurrough seeing that the fighting had started charged forward to discover that the Kaplan who was waiting to see if they could discover the hidden person nearby decides to instead shoot down the charging dog warrior McMurrough. With his heightened reflexes, he tossed a smoke and tried to dodge any sniper shots going into the smoke. McMurrough was successful in dodging the bullets and even drew the attention away from Uxia who was hiding within the sight of the Kaplan Sniper.

When the smoke clears on top of the building that Valkaryie and the remains of the brawler were on the camouflaged volunteer who was sitting in the smoke sees the hulking figure of Valkaryie and decides to strike before it is too late for him. He shoves his light shotgun forward and unleashes a shot that puts a hole right through Valkaryie’s chest before she could even move an inch. Then the scots guard who has been too deadly to this Foreign company force moved forward seeing Senor Massacre and launched another missile hitting him. While it wasn't as damaging as it could be to Senor it did drop him.

While all of this is going on the camouflaged Uxia near the Kaplains makes her move popping out of her disguise and unleashing two shots with her boarding shotgun taking out the sniper as quick as can be. She then made her move around the building where there was a Kaplan doctor armed with a quick trigger finger. Uxia turned the corner expecting to clean up all the Kaplan in the area but the doctor ducked the two shots from her shotgun and shot Uxia in the shoulder dropping her. After that McMurrough ran towards the Kaplan up the center of the battlefield going unnoticed with the left side decimated and only Laxmee still conscious and the right trying to regroup after dealing with Uxia.

McMurrough ran straight towards the Kaplan with an adhesive launcher and let loose his guns dropping the Kaplan who couldn't hit the broad side of a spaceship with the adhesive launcher. Then McMurrough runs around the building to the only doctor with the foreign company’s strike force. McMurrough once again shot out and killed the Kaplan doctor who was quick on his toes for Uxia but was unable to match the speed of McMurrough.

With only Laxmee and a bolt left standing they stood by idly while Senor Massacre gets back up thanks to his regeneration and crawled forward where William Wallace and a bunch of 45ths were not really being able to deal with any threats all around him thanks to the scots guard with a missile launcher holding the position down. Now that Massacre, the bolt, and Laxmee were all pinned down the 45ths started to push forward. No one was able to see them move thanks to a well-placed smoke senor massacre put down to ensure he wasn't killed. Yet that did not stop the 45ths from running forward into the smoke to cut him down. Both a 45th who charged into close combat and senor massacre both took a wound and while Senor Massacre went down the 45th plunged his sword into the regenerating man.

The whole time all this fighting is happening the core link of volunteers with a 3rd grey leading them pushed forward towards the tech coffin. Taking a small detour to one of the antennas where a paramedic activated the activate the communications antenna but was surprised when a crocman showed up and placed down a mine which halted the core team from moving at all. This was short-lived because a 45th ran around the corner shooting. The mine triggered on him and the Crocman put down another mine when this happened but the crocman was taken out in the process. The first mine blew up the 45th and another 45th ran forward after that triggering the second mine which took out both 45ths in the area. The unconscious and conscious one.

Then a SAS member moved out of Camo to the remaining antenna and activated it while the core team finally free to move walked over to the tech coffin. Lastly with only Laxmee left McMurrough ran up next to the Enemy’s HVT and shot down the prone Laxmee eliminating the Foreign company’s forces.

Again the Caledonian forces cleaned up the threats within the Battery. It was lucky that their tricks have taken them this far without backfiring on them yet.
