Deployment of Tunguskan Troops

This game was played at G3 (Glasgow Games Group) using Annihilation rules, with no HVTs or Classified Decks. Terrain is of course the club's terrain, as is the mat, and the minis that are actually painted and nice are obviously the JSA troops belonging to Jamie :P

Turn One

Tunguska had Turn One, and the Grenzer sniper moved to begin, making a Domaru take cover. The HMG Securitate then managed to discover a Ryuken hiding on a nearby roof, before then killing him on a second order.

The Kriza Mk12 and his Haris team moved up, but drew the attention of the Tanko. The Missile Launcher struck home and the Kriza was killed outright. However, the HMG Securitate then moved to avenge it, first wounding and then KO'ing the Tanko.

The HMG Kriza, now alone, managed to wound the Daiyokai, but his second effort did nothing.

***

The JSA's first turn saw the link team of Keisotsus, Kempei, and a Domaru move up on the Hollow Man, and lob an E/M grenade at them, but the Tunguskan avoided it. The Daiykaoi was driven into NWI by the Kriza HMG in an exchange of fire, before the Hollow Man was wounded and driven back by the Link Team. A Yaozao managed to reach and revive the Tanko, but he was then knocked out again in a firefight with the Kriza.

Turn Two

The Hollow Man tried to attack the Domaru to no avail, while the HMG Securitate managed to KO the Tanko once more. The team shifted around, Raoul Spector managing to attack and force the Domaru to dodge.

He then managed to kill the Kempetai, while KO'ing a Keisotsu, before wounding the Domaru and letting the Sniper Grenzer take over to kill the Domaru, forcing the JSA into Loss of Lieutenant as their CoC unit had also fallen.

The Kriza HMG managed to finish the Daiyokai, but failed to harm the Kempei marksman, surviving a hit from the lurking sniper. The Kriza then managed to kill the target outright.

***

The JSA turn saw the Shinkami jump atop a building, The Tanko revived once more, and the SMG Ryuken fail to harm the Kriza in an attack. However, one Keisotsu KO'd the Hollowman, and the other killed him outright when they took their actions.

Turn Three

The Grenzer sniper began firing, first KO'ing one Keisotsu and then killing the other. The Kriza HMG also managed to kill the SMG Ryuken as Raoul killed a Domaru.

However, his luck ran out as the team drew fire from the Tanko next, and Raoul was killed. The HMG Securitate survived at the same time.

***

The Shinkami was unfortunate to be KO'd by the HMG Securitate, but the Tanko proved himself once more, managing to first KO the Kriza HMG and then the Securitate HMG. But despite these brave efforts from the Tanko, the JSA were narrowly defeated.

Aftermath

This fight became extremely close in the end. Had the Shinkami survived, it's a fair bet he'd have probably began ripping apart the fireteam and could have swung it to a draw or even the other way. As it is the Tanko was clearly Man of the Match overall, getting back up repeatedly and claiming the bulk of Nomad casualties all by himself.
