Our orders were clear - total lockdown of the Gorge. No one one, no one out without proper clearance. By the time my assigned Special Crisis Unit flagged the incoming forces I'd already checked for the proper RFID signal, confirmed there wasn't one and begun jamming all local open communications.

The inital attack caught us unprepared, with the Kriza caught out of position facing the wrong way, and our Daktari medic unfortunately caught flatfooted in the opening shotgun salvo.

The rain of lead continued to ring out in the empty corridors of this section of Cosmika, quickly costing our forces our Tsyklon Sputnik, and leaving our Interventor bleeding out after catching a stray round.

Without our Lieutenant to call in our Hellcat overwatch our immediate reaction was dulled and stymied in the chaos. Our Zero agent was able to place several mines to cover our right flank, and our local War Correspondent held much of the aggression at bay.

After the fall of the Zero and War Correspondent the Mobile Brigada took control of operations, calling in a Hellcat drop that eliminated the tip of the Haqqislam advance, opening a firing lane for the Brigada to level their boarding shotgun on the enemy. But the Haqqislam jammers were too much for the cyber defenses of the Brigada's suit, and our Engineer was pinned down with multiple enemies closing in.

With the Hellcat's sacrifice and the Mobile Brigada being silenced, OPFOR began to "clear" the mines on our right flank. While the Zero's emplacements were discovered, the Lunokhod's CrazyKoala payload found its mark, giving an onrushing assailant a big, warm, shrapnel-filled group hug.

Ultimately, our main objectives were unattainable, but even in defeat our Engineer was able to brave the fire of several enemies to successfully complete the Tsyklon test run, and our Hellcat eliminated an impersonator with extreme prejudice. Though, at not time were our Liason Officer or Hacker able to designate the enemy's HVT.
