Cassandra se encontraba dentro de una de las cuevas donde habían establecido el HQ temporal de Bakunin en el gran asteroide. Junto con ella se encontraba Sofía Ortega, una teniente de los moderadores de Bakunin que había participado en la crisis de Kurage. Tras la derrota sufrida en el bar de Harry fue necesario reagruparse; por encima de sus cabezas la tierra tiembla con cada enfrentamiento dentro de las instalaciones de Cósmica. El holoproyector la imagen de Casta, una riot grrl: una hermosa mujer latina alta y fuerte que vestía un pantalón ajustado de cuero y una camisa esqueleto gris, exponiendo todos sus tatuajes, con un cigarro que no dejaba caer de su boca.
– Bien, ALEPH está invadiendo Cósmica, busca tomar las antenas de transmisión en busca de los datos que oculta Mano Negra en este basurero –dijo Ortega-, quieren que recuperemos las antenas a como de lugar.
– A la mierda mano Negra, si creen que pueden darnos órdenes se van a llevar una sorpresa –respondió Casta.
– De alguna manera concuerdo con usted –dijo Cassandra-: Si bien la informaciónque allí se encuentra es importante, esa es una prioridad de Mano Negra, no de nosotros. Que mire Tunguska que puede hacer, que use a los reos de Corregidor si necesitan carne de cañón. Lo que a nosotros nos compete es destruir a ALEPH y trataremos de causar la mayor cantidad de bajas entre sus filas, y si de paso, podemos ayudar a nuestra nave hermana, será un placer –fue concluyendo la superiora-. Kirovs avanza por la plazoleta de Cósmica conectando las antenas en total silencio logrando conectar tres de ellas del centro y el este, mientras Diana Ravicok, la custodia que hace parte de la Santísima Trinidad de Bakunin activa una más por el costado oeste del edificio. Espeilovk conecta una más en el este y mantiene posición como se le ordena. Todo esto es posible gracias al desorden formado por Karina, Durango, Pantro y Black Sheep; quienes avanzan por el lugar lanzando granadas de humo junto con gritos y blasfemias buscando a quien matar. Santiago y Casta toman posiciones en el centro del recinto y aguardan a que el enemigo avance.
ALEPH finalmente muestra la cara y comienza a avanzar. Coloca un pitcher cerca de Kirovs y luego Scylla lo fríe con un cyber-ataque conocido como redrum. Un tirador agenma logra herir a Karina, dar de baja pantro e incluso herir a Casta quien con un “hijo de perra” en su boca tuvo que buscar cobertura. Sin embargo, Santiago en cruce de disparos logra dejar fuera de combate al francotirador. El ejército de la IA avanza hasta la mitad del lugar y activa una de las antenas.
Black Sheep y Durango corren contra los primeros enemigos que ven: Black Sheep esquiva sin pensarlo fuego y munición con tal de destruir un devabot que se encontraba cerca, casi logra destruirlo del todo, de no ser porque el ingeniero enemigo usó a su pequeño bot para repararlo. Black Sheep queda inconsciente en el campo de batalla por un disparo; por otro lado, Durango enfrenta a un enemigo que pareció de la nada matándolo con sus fuertes garras, pero es ejecutado por la espalda por otro agente de ALEPH. Mientras esto sucede Ortega y sus moderadores avanzan y dispara medikits a kirovs quien no resiste ni el ataque de hackeo ni la medicina experimental y cae del todo. Maldiciendo su surte regresan a una posición más segura desde la cual trata de prestar primeros auxilios a Karina resultando en un intento fallido y llevando a la muerte a la morlock. Por último, guarda posición para proteger las antenas.
ALEPH trata de ganar terreno, puede ver que kusanagi y las demás monjas están en una posición comprometida así que Scylla avanza con sus devabots tratando de cubrir al ingeniero quien activa otra antena. Sofía Ortega, mostrándose como un gran soldado de ojo agudo, dispara a los devabots al verlos pasar por su guardia. El dispositivo hacker de Diana le advierte que un hacker enemigo ha entrado dentro de su zona de hackeo así que de inmediato lanza un redrum contra el intruso quien no es otra que Scylla que nada puede hacer para detenerlo; Kusanagi, ya con el camino limpio avanza matando al ingeniero y tomando mejor posición.
ALEPH deja fuera de combate a Ortega al verla como una amenaza junto con otro moderador y da de baja a Valentina. Santiago, Casta y Kusanagi cumplen sus trabajos dando eliminando más unidades de ALEPH obligándolos a retroceder retomando así el nivel en disputa.
