Asteroid Blues

A Bakunin troupe was send to support Haq Islam against Operation: Highlander Charge. The area the AEC was holding was viral bombed, before the initial fight begun. It forced the Ariadnans out of hiding and into the open field, where the Riot Girls and Reverend Moira's were waiting for them....

The initial movements were to get the hell out of the chemical cloud. Some of the Ariadnans already succeeded in Infiltrating the saver zones, but others had to hoof it out of there.

Just a few smokebombs were enough to obsure the Ariadnan movement. With the main force hiding behind the church. the Veteran Kazak had to shoot one neurotic zealot to make sure the rest could pass.

But not all could escape the cloud. a grunt, chasseur and antipode handler suffocated.

The Nomads had also got their region poisoned, so they moved up to the church as well. the coming fight would be close quarters.

The Ariadnans hold up the left most building with some skirmishers and Irmandinhos. While the Antipodes lay in waiting for a good target.

The Nuns move in from the right side of the church.

No firefights break out. The morlock throws smoke to obsure the nuns movements, While the Riot Girlz find sweet spots to fortify their position.

The Ariadnans put maximum effort in to bring the pain on the Nomads. An Irmandinho wounds one of the Riot Girlz, while the Antipodes jump in to take out another. Both attacks are dealt with by the missile launcher on top.

The situation becomes desperate and the Nomads go in with risky moves to flush out the Ariadnans. Charges through the open become common place, but Bakunin armor holds. The Veteran Kazak is not so lucky however and takes a wound from Kusanagi.

Vassily had at least secured an objective, but that would not assure victory. So the Ariadnans move in with the Spetsnaz killing one of the Riot Girlz, but unable to take out the missile launcher. At least they secured the HVT at the other building.

It all comes down to the gunfight between Kusanagi and the Kazak. While Kusanagi is firing out in the open, she makes sure the Kazak dies to a shot through the eye. Nomad firepower wins out in a close battle.
