VS Tohaa
Omar

Mission: Supplies
Opponent: Remnant of Tohaa regular military.
Operational objectives: acquire samples of biological armor stored in cryogenic coffins. Secondary: scan enemy troopers for additional data on host armor biometrics. Acquire sensitive data enemies have acquired from black site data servers.
Commanding officer of OSS strike force Marut unis, support of ghost jumpers and Dakini fire team sigma 12. Shukra on site for data analysis and public relations.

With a quick turn of the sensor suite, the long limbed Marut took in the whole of the zone of operations. With the linked visual feed from fire team sigma 12 and the post humans the AI was able to pilot the massive tactical armored gear unit into the best possible position for the upcoming firefight. Insider intelligence had informed the AI of the deployment of a Tohaa Gorgos, a potentially dangerous adversary. With the Tohaa left flank seemingly left unguarded the ALEPH TAG started its advance to attempt to neutralize the oppositions TAG. Rounding the two level concrete prefabricated housing unit the Marut leveled its weapon and fired a burst of AP rounds at the biological opponent. Unaware of the Calypso materializing behind it. With this unseen variable the ALEPH units shots went wide of the enemy TAG, causing some minor damage from the AP rounds. Luckily the shotgun slug from the Calypso bounced harmlessly off the Marut’s armor. Ducking back into cover the Marut turned its attention to the Tohaa infiltrator and splattered her with a hail of HMG fire. With the flank now actually clear the post human FO moved up and cracked one of the cryo casks and pulled out a sample of the alien tissue. The small ancillary unit dismounted the Marut and opened the second casket after a little trouble with the alien coded lock. With two objectives secured the Dakini fire team moved forward as the Marut fell back to cover. With a quick command over the comm log the TAG and post human went into suppression as the Tohaa army got off its back foot and started their advance.

The huge alien warrior advanced on the ALEPH fire base, sending the slave creature around the other side of the building. Trading fire with the ALEPH aspect as the slave blasted Sigma 12 with nanobots knocking one Dakini out of operation. With a burst of fire from the Marut stopped by a seemingly suicidal creature, the Gorgos rounded the corner of the prefab and fired at the suppressing AI again. This time without the protection of its mate or the assistance of its slave unit. The exchange went poorly for the alien suffering a wound from AP rounds and wisely ducking around the corner to lay down some suppression of its own.

Knowing that engaging an enemy in suppression fire is a foolish venture, the Marut ordered the post human to break its suppression and begin throwing E/M grenades. Although one connected no lasting damage was done to the alien, however a few more attempts did cause it to break its suppression and allow the ALEPH TAG to round the corner and kill the living tag, however it’s pilot escaped around the building. As the AI rounded the prefab again it exchanged shots with a Tohaa missile launcher and broke the alien triad by gunning the prone veteran down with its HMG. With those threats gone the Marut focuses on the two additional Calypsos that had appeared on its left flank. Killing one outright and knocking the second unconscious. With these threats gone the ALEPH tag passed the tissue sample it have been carrying over to the post human engineer, and had its damage repaired. The Marut then pulled back again, reordered it’s protective fire team and engaged in suppression fire once again.

With the bulk of the Tohaa dead there was little resistance to the Danavas hacker and post human forward observer completing their secondary objectives. The mk.5 advanced around the building after passing the tissue sample to a functional Dakini. There he gunned down the Gorgos pilot and advanced to the van that contained the stolen data and recovered it. The hacker fired a pitcher towards the unconscious Calypso and tried to get a solid biometric reading, forgetting that she was not equipped with the biological armor. With this failure the Tohaa broke and ran leaving ALEPH to ensure that the “truth” was reported to the human sphere.
