A view of the PanOceanian deployment zone.
A view of the invading Nomad force.
A foolish Alguacil stares down the Jotum in deployment. He would only regret his decision for a moment longer.
The PanOceanian Monstrucker (Represented by proxy Alguacil) pushes forward towards an enemy HVT, to secure Retroengineering for the first classified of the game!
The Seraph pushes forward to occupy halfway up the table and drops into suppresive fire! A Palbot attached to the Monstrucker moves into base to base contact with the Seraph, a decision which soon proves to be wise!
A Bandit with an Assault Hacking Device moves into position, hidden in Camouflage. He reveals himself and possesses the Seraph! Good thing the Palbot was there, locking the Seraph in close combat!
Later in the game, the Jotum moves beside the Seraph to form a line of sight blocking wall, allowing a Bolt with Killer Hacking Device (Proxied by the Black Friar) to bypass an enemy Intruder MSR and make a try for Net-Undermine.
Measured from the enemy deployment zone, the Neoterran Bolt (Proxied by Black Friar) just barely makes in inside the enemy half of the table, passes his WIP roll, and completes Net-Undermine with the last order on the top of turn 2!

The Jurisdictional Command of Corregidor saw fit to attack the Liberty Cargo Logistics Center, but little did they know the PanOceanian forces were preparing both a Jotum and a Seraph for deployments elsewhere on Novyy Bangkok.

Remote pilots loading in, the PanOceanian forces were able to seize the initiative and deploy their forces before the Nomads were able to get fully set up.

PanO: TURN 1

Roaring to life, the Jotum begins the game. With a critical hit firing Shock Ammunition on the first order, the Nomads lost a very important tool; their only missile launcher.

Now, it was time for the Seraph to move out. Moving down the flank, the Seraph was able to silence a Transductor Zond and Warcor, before engaging in a ranged firefight with Lupe Balboa. Despite the modifiers (-3 Range, -3 Mimitism, -3 cover), the Seraph was able to overcome the incoming two Panzerfaust shots, and put a wound on her. Going Dogged, but with no more Panzerfuasts, Lupe tried to throw a smoke grenade against the next round of fire from the Seraph, but it was for naught. The Seraph's spitfire tore through her, and the Alguacil link team was all but ruined by the combined might of the TAGs!

Using the remaining orders of the first turn, the PanOceanian Monstrucker rushed for the enemy side of the board and was able to complete HVT: Retroenineering. Dropping into suppression, the Monstrucker prepares for the worst.

Score: 1-0 PanO

Nomad: TURN 1.

A camouflage marker begins it's advance towards the Seraph, completely out of line of fire. Unable to react until it's too late, a Bandit reveals! Failing to reset in time, the Bandit was able to possess the Seraph, but thankfully a trusty Palbot was waiting nearby. Locking the Seraph in close combat, the possessed Seraph tries to break free, but the trusty Palbot was able to Electric Pulse the mighty Seraph, locking it in place. The Bandit does a Datascan on the Palbot, then slinks back into the shadows of his Camouflage.

On the other side of the board, a Nomad Gecko springs into action, and charges at the Monstrucker. Though firing away valiantly, the Gecko is able to close the gap in two orders, moving into Close Combat! Because of the Gecko's status as the data tracker, it is able to accomplish the classified Nanoespionage.

(Also at some point here, the Krakot renegade got glue gunned by the bandit).

Score: 3-1 Nomads

PanO: TURN 2

Spending a command token to cancel possession on the Seraph, the first orders are spent on the Mulebot who moves his way up the board.

Moving out of cover towards the Bandit, it is shot at by an Intruder MSR, who is able to down the Mulebot, but not before putting down a Sniffer. The Regular Sensor spends an order, needing a 19 to reveal the Bandit, and obviously rolls a 20. After a second order, the Bandit is revealed. With his time to shine, the Auxilia Forward observer moves forward, and Forward Observes the Bandit, achieving the classified Telemetry.

The Jotum moves forward from its position to deal with the Bandit, but in doing so puts itself in line of fire of a Transductor Zond, the Intruder MSR, and the Bandit itself. Splitting it's burst between the four, the Jotum is able to kill the Bandit, land a hit on the Intruder (Who passes her Armour Save), and have a mutual-miss with the Transductor.

Realizing that the Datatracker Neoterran Bolt would never be able to cross the gap covered by the Intruder, the Jotum moves directly beside the Seraph and the building where the Bolt was hiding while exhanging fire with the Intruder. Using his Data Tracker order, converting the Monstrucker's irregular, and the final order of the turn, the Bolt moves to the enemy half of the table, and is able to pass a WIP roll, achieving Net-Undermine.

SCORE: 5-3 PANO

Nomads: TURN 2

The Nomad turn begins with the Gecko crushing the Monstrucker with its fists in melee, but choosing to remain engaged. Passing a WIP roll, the Gecko is able to accomplish In Extremis Recovery. The Gecko then moved down the side towards the PanO deployment zone, taking out a Fugazi Dronbot on the way. Popping out from cover to fire on the Jotum, the Jotum responded by firing an explosive HMG round towards the Gecko. Unfortunately though, the Gecko was armed with a Blitzen, and was able to land a hit on the Jotum. The Jotum failed its save, and was isolated. The Gecko then dealt with the immobilized Kakrot.

With the ability to score the classified Capture, and only having an Intruder as an Elite Troop, the Intruder MSR begins to charge across the field towards the closest PanO unit; the Seraph. Dodging the incoming fire of the Seraph, and it's Auxbot, it takes the Intruder three orders to reach the Seraph. Instead of firing it's Nanopulser however, the Seraph bides its time. The intruder moves into melee with it, dodging the Heavy Flamer of the Auxbot. The Seraph though, swings its explosive close combat weapon, and removes the intruder from existence.

With the Nomad final orders, the Daktari moves across the back field and revives the Warcor, scoring the classified Experimental Drug.

SCORE: 5-5 TIED

PanO: Turn 3

Entering the turn in loss of Lieutenant, certain choices had to be made. With only one command token left on the PanO side, it was critical to determine who would keep their irregular order, and whose would be turned into a Regular.

Because the Bolt is a Veteran, he was able to retain his order. In addition, he was the Data Tracker. Coupled with the hypothetical final order, he would be able to use three orders to try to accomplish as many classifieds as he could. On the table, there was HVT: Follow-Up, Mapping, and Capture. Decisions had to be made.

Because the Regular was still within the PanO deployment zone, and the fact he's a Regular, it was decided he would live up to his name.

The Seraph began with the first order of the turn, super jumping above a building and unleashing full burst from his spitfire at the Daktari who was beside the Warcor, while suffering incoming fire from both the Gecko and a Transductor Zond. It mattered not. The Seraph downed the Daktari, but didn't kill her, and passed its saves from the incoming fire.

Now, it was time for the PanO MVP to shine. With three orders, the Bolt moved towards the enemy deployment zone, with the first order entering the ZoC of an enemy HVT. With a +3 Mod to his WIP for line of sight, the Bolt was able to complete HVT: Follow-Up on his first try. With his second order, the bolt broke from total cover, directly in the line of fire of the Warcor, but chose to move again as the second short skill of the order. Despite the Warcors best efforts, the BTS 6 of the bolt proved to be too much. With the final order, the Bolt moved into base contact with a piece of scenery, and passed a WIP roll to complete the classified: Mapping.

SCORE: 6-5 PanO

Nomads: TURN 3

It all came down to this. With 5 classifieds held compared to the Nomad 4, it was looking good for PanO. With both Rescue and HVT: Designation on the board, the Nomad forces knew they still had a chance of victory, and they would do their all to get it.

Moving the Alguacil forward observer down the field, using all but 1 order, the Alguacil was able to maintain total cover and accomplish HVT: Designation on its first attempt. Now, with one order left, and a tied game, what brave plan would the Nomads try?

The Warcor decided it was their time to shine, and grabbed the body of the Daktari who was still beside it having previously brought the Warcor back from the brink. Rushing out of their deployment zone in an attempt to complete the classified Rescue, they moved directly in the line of fire of the Bolt. The bolt let lose with his Boarding Shotgun, scoring a hit.

The Warcor though, had other plans that day, and despite its ARM 0, passed its save.

FINAL SCORE: 10-6 NOMADS.
