Asteroid Blues

As i was helping with the Durian investigation unit there was an attack on the Ji Yuan site, the Operations Hub. This is a post action report collected from recordings of the video footage, the quality is less than desirable, so the attackers couldn't be identified, considering the constant harassing from mercenary companies spurred by. Mr Yokoso, it would be of no surprise if they where from the very same Ikari company, but the equipment and tactics used makes us suspect of a Panoceanian action, the lack of sufficient evidence to make a formal claim, forces us to seek retribution on a more indirect way.

(Su Jian was my datatracker and Rescue my classified, Joan was their datatracker and Extreme Prejudice their classified)

We seized the initiative and choose to attack first, it was a terrible start, with our Mowang going down to reaction fire on his first action, and our Rui Shi doing the same when confronted to the enemy fireteam, as tackling them proved too difficult, our Tiger Soldier made a combat jump and took out a TR remote, a Evo Hacker and a G:Servant bot. Finally when making a coordinated order to advance the camouflaged troops, our Kanren was left unconscious.

The enemy proceeds to neutralize the tiger soldier, wich threatened their flank, and they did without trouble. Then advanced to engage our Su Jian but a shaolin threw smoke wich messed their plan and started to maneuver to better positions, putting to wounds on the Su jian and offing the Shaolin.

OOC: I controlled more sectors, but my datatracker retreated too much, while his secured a sector: 2-1

Noting that a direct confrontation was not good, our FO Guilang deployed two mines, and then our Su Jian engaged, taking down an attacker in powered armor, footage indicates it carried medical supplies, and wounded another with a hacking device, the Su Jian tried to take down the hacker, but was unsuccessful.

The counterattack was fierce, our guilang was shoot in the back and then offed by the hacker, an enemy trooper put back online the TR remote, and there was an ineffectual exchange of fire between the Su Jian and the fireteam, our Lt took a chance to take out the hacker, but failed and was taken out of action by what looks like a female trooper of the fireteam.

In a last ditch effort, without our CO, our other shaolin tried to make a chain rifle attack against the fireteam entrenched on the central building, but he was too far and was taken out. The Su Jian wounded the female trooper, wich hide behind some buildings, but the minelayer guilang secured the kill.

Finally, the enemy fireteam were all in, taking heavy casualties wich won't allow them to secure the sectors.
