“I know we’ve spent here more time in this briefing room lately tha sleeping but I’ve been informed that it’s going to be the last mission for a while, OK? Now listen up, this is the Intel we have:
++transmission record 481669, place: The Gorge++
After some incursions from our vanguard forces we have found a series of antennas, vital for the development of this campaing. Reports inform that there is a high level of activity, mostly from ALEPH troops. We command you to take and secure the place and build a perimetre around those antennas.
Reports must be sent before Monday 0500 pm. Good Luck.”

TURN 1
“Alright, let’s do this right so we can go home, we all are tired as hell, but duty and serving the Emperor are always first. Be careful, I don’t want to bury anyone anymore. You´ll be reporting every 20 minutes, now, MOVE IT”
++ first report++
“Sir, we have deployed very carefully, our HaiDao has most of the field covered for whatever may happen, we’ve also left a YaoZao right beside him, just in case… everyone has taken cover or are proned because our remotes have detected some movement on the other side of the Street”

After deploying as everyone from the YJ forces were hidden, ALEPH troops started advancing forward, being able to activate three consecutive antennas on the left flank but at the same time getting deeper in our territory. Action started when their remote decided to climb up a building getting in a face to face with the Hulang trooper deployed there. Both, after trying to kill each other, split up with the remote throwing a mine before coming down from the building under the ARO fire from the RUI SHI, that was then taken out of action. The Hulang trooper was trapped.
With a quick response fire from the YJ started. Firts the HaiDao started to clean up the roof in front of him, leaving the enemy’s fire team without two of his men. Then Tai Sheng decided to come down from the building she was in, and after taking care of the last man on the roof, she activated one of the antennas.

The three fire team troopers on the roof before vanishing.

On the other side the Daoying hacker lieutenant decided to do the same as Tai Sheng did and came out of cover to actívate the second antenna for YJ, right when the LuDuan was blown up after surprise shooting the ALEPH’s Haris trio that had activated the other antennas. Unlickily enough, he only got to wound them, not enough to kill any of them. After hearing the explosion Tai Sheng and the HMG Zuyongs moved up, and the Zuyong opened fire to try and take out ALEPH’s Lt, but only getting to be Isolated from her ARO. Things were looking pretty bad for YJ when Tai arrived to the corner, and got even worse when after three shots from her chain colt, the Lt was still alive in a mess of fire and burning oil, luckily her nanopulser wasn´t able to kill Tai Sheng either, leaving her with one wound and out in the open.

TURN 2
“++ second report++
Sir, I know you said we better be careful but thing went south… I want you to know it’s been a pleasure to serve under your comm… ++corrupted data++
++end of the transmission++”
After the demolishing first turn, things went quite the same. ALEPH troops kept on harrasing YJ. The two troopers left on the core fire team started moving, getting shot by the HaiDao who took the Deva out, but getting himself killed too. After that, the other robot was lucky enough to do his job and took the Daoying Lt out of action, making everythign go downhill from there…
The last thing the High Command got was some images recorded by a security camera that showed the Hulang raging and setting the mine that blew both him and the poor warcor hidden behind him.

Propaganda made by a fellow YJ officer.
