DISCLAIMER: this battle report belongs to one of those evenigns, where you show up with the wrong bag of miniatures, having to play with 0-12 proxies, and a phone with a 3% battery that dies after the first picture, so you have to play Paints Magic. “I´ve reunited you all here because I just had a meeting with Commander Xun Dao… things are not looking pretty well fo rus. Those NA-2 seems to have come out of their burrows to try and reclaim something they think belongs to them. Our mission is to set up a distraction to gain time for the resto f our troops to settle and defend the Pit. It i sour duty and our pride to die for what is right and good, there is no coming back from dishonour, so you know what to do.”
With this harsh words and the objective of breaking a deal that was going on in the Japanese Bottom, bringing back our merchant while trying to gun down the other one we got on our way.

After setting the deployment I had first turn. With the advantage of not being able to shoot further than 80 cm away, I moved the fire team on the left forward, reaching the building in front of them, giving a good use to the two tacaware Zuyongs and activating the first console. Unluckily, that wasn´t the real HVT so I looked for good positions on the rooftop and gunned down my opponent TR remote.

With most of the other orders I tried to reveal a camo marker and an impersonation one. I got the camo which turned oit to be a mine that got to my Haidao sniper who was fast enough to hide behind the wall unharmed. I also moved up my camo marker and my mowang to gain some mid ground control on the right side.

On his side, my opponent moved up his impersonation marker, which turned out to be (oh! Surprise surprise!) a speculo killer, who took out the wild Bill we both had received at the beginning of the mission, and trying to do the same with my mech. What he didn´t expect was to get a clean headshot from my doctor, right on the other flank, making a mes out of the speculo and frustrating his plans of cleaning my rearguard.
He then tried to compensate by moving forward the Gwailo and his companion, trying to take out my fire team not having much luck… this time. With few orders left he got his TR remote up thanks to his doctor and took out the first piece of mi fire team.

My second turn started as agressive as expected: my Zuyong HMG did a pretty good job taking out both his remote, avenging his brother, and then THE GWAILO. Three big pieces out and it was time for my camo to run fast as hell to the console in front of him, activating it, revealing YET AGAIN THE WRONG HVT… oh well, s**t happens.

His second turn was also pretty forward: he moved forward his own hacker, who got shot in a leg right before getting to cover, dropping as he started to bleed out… but right after that the shasvastii general recovered the moral of his troops, getting his remote back again, whipping the last zuyong from the rooftop and another of his remotes did the same with my poor pangguling, erasing my fire team from the records. After that he moved two troopers on the right being cautious to avoid facing the Mowang.

My third turn was pretty fast, as I only placed my ARO pieces right for whatever he could do.

He tried his best, getting his hacker back with the sincronized medical remote and using three of his command tokens he moved three of his troops forward in order to get to the consoles and get two of them at the same time. Luckily my Haidao wanted his trophy and gunned down the hacker as he was getting up the stairs, securing a victory for the mighty Jade Warriors.
