We should have known, that this was going to happen.

After Apates false flag message to the ISS, claiming that we are the ones who are originally stealing the cubes and datas from them, it was only a matter of time till the State Empire would react, but we didn´t expect them to to it so fast.

One of our patrols, observing the area alongside the Open-Pit has come under heavy attacks from the ISS. They caught us off guard and their Crane Agent almost seems like an unstoppable force. We´ve tried to push them back by a concentrating our heavy weapons into a linked team, but the attack of the ISS was well coordinated and covered by smoke.
We´ve lost our Missle Launcher almost immediately and even our Tuareg Doctor doesnt survived her attempted to brought them to a hold.

We´ve tried to push them back as good as we can, but their will was allmost unbreakable. After all, we were able to activate one of the heating units, for it was allmost dusk, and we knew that the killer cold would get as after the going down of the sun.
But we paid a high price for that. Under constand fire a Counter Insurgency unit of the Kanren was able to wipe out our Mukthar and a Namur specialist operativ. A blow we allmost did not recover from.

The Krane, covered by 4 celestial Guards still rampages directly towards our line, killing both of our snipers. At this moment we have lost allmost all of our firepower. Only Jamal Aboudi, a member of the Al Fasid regiment remains.

What happend next was unbelieavable. Aboudi was able to pin them down, in the middle of the killer cold zone, and we saw that there were only minutes left befor the going down of the sun. He knew that he was protected by his heavy wargear and so he fearlessly stepps into the arena and finally gets rid of the Crane. From this moment, we only have to wait. The rage and anger has driven the troops of the State Empire so mad, that they forgott to retreat into the safe zone of theire heating unit. And so they died in the cold, senseless, meaningless. This was one of the blackest day in my military career. Such a sens and pointless canrage…i swear to Allah (the most gracious the most mercyfull) that we will find, and kill Apate for forcing us into this battle.

We won, but we payed a high price for that.

After the battle we were finally able to unlock the secrets of the stolen data and thus makes this whole slaughter even more tragic. It filled my heart with shock and horror what we have find out. This could be one of the most terrifying scandals in the last decade of the human sphere.
