The Qapu Khalki received a series of informations in which an ALEPH squadron was trying to breach into Haqqislam territory. So we gathered a stopping force to halt their intentions. We needed to take control with the antennas in out territory so that the couldn't call reinforcements. Our first movements were merely strategic, positioning our Hawwa and Druze.
After we positioned, the Phalanx stroke. The first victim was the Hawwa AHD that couldn't resist the amount of fire that the giant Ayax shot at him. After this he advanced towards our rear he encountered Wild Bill, whom easily won he shootout yet the giant's armor resisted the shots. After this frustration, Ayax run towards our Druze team and Liason Officer, failing to kill both and getting IMM2 in the process.
After the first attack, we landed our pirates. First one Yuan effectevily killed an Agema and Myrmidon with a shotgun. He tried to run to the Phalanx rear but Macaon caught him in the act. In the other side, both Yuan landed and successfully helped in the efforts to decrease the ALEPH chances in our territory. The Druze team seeing that a Thorakites was watching the field with his Feuerbach, started to shoot him, bringing him down.
The second Phalanx push didn't make much to our forces but bringing down our Druze duo, they were revived by our physician later. In our left side, the Kaplans and Bill Advanced, getting in sight of other Agema, killing him. Macaon stayed in sight of our Kaplan.
The last push of the ALEPH forces was fierce, firstly a Myrmidon covered the sight that our Kaplan had into Macaon. Then another Agema, who was revived by Macaon, shot down our Kaplan. With this, Macaon ran into bill and killed him in close combat. Their last move was bringing Scylla into the room, where our Hawwa FO Officer was already in. In the end all this was insufficient to take control of this sector.
Go Vic!
Nice write-up and pictures! I really like the look of Infinity being played on a glass table, kind of makes it seem like the whole thing might be happening in virtual reality, or some such thing.
Nice report, great victory and an interesting list here. The table makes it special!
Congratulations on stopping the Aleph!
…but I must say the transparent table makes it all look a bit wierd.
